Spotlight on Petaluma Dining
As noted on our Resources/Dining Page, there are countless incredible Petaluma dining options sprinkled throughout Napa, Marin and Sonoma Counties. Since we work and play in Petaluma much of the time, we thought we’d highlight a few favorite haunts to encourage our colleagues and clients to try a restaurant in Petaluma the next time they’re in the area.
Located in the heart of historic, downtown Petaluma, Central Market is an ideal spot for a small bite and a glass of wine at the bar or a more formal, sit-down meal. Open for dinner seven nights a week with happy hour Sunday – Thursday from 5:00-6:00 p.m., click here to view the current menus.
A few of our favorite dishes offered on the Winter Menu include the Sicilian Citrus Salad with barrel aged feta, Handpicked Dungeness Crabmeat over shaved fennel, Slow-Cooked Angus Beef Short Ribs with baked potato gratin, Wood-Fired Swordfish over sautéed artichoke hearts and meyer lemon gremolata and the Wagyu Beef Sirloin Steak with diablo butter.
Hands down without a question, the best fish tacos we’ve ever had! Make sure to remember to add avocado. Café Zazzle features a fusion-style menu with a range of influences – Asian, Italian and the American southwest.
Located on Kentucky Street and open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. through dinner, our favorite menu items (other than the fish tacos!) vary from the Spicy Coconut Chicken noodle bowl and BBQ Pork Wrap to the San Fran Louie and Spicy Chicken Lettuce Wraps.
Consistently one of the top-rated Petaluma dining options in Sonoma County (as well as the entire North Bay) Cucina Paradiso offers authentic Italian cuisine prepared from scratch with only the finest ingredients available.
Featuring an extensive list of Italian and Sonoma County wines, the wait staff is quite knowledgeable when it comes to recommending a wine and food pairing. This charming trattoria is open six days a week for lunch and dinner.
Menu highlights range from Ravioli Di Anatra, Gnocchi Gorgonzola E Noci and Spaghetti Cozze E Vongole to Saltimbocca Di Vitello, La Sella di Agenllo and Pollo Rotolato Arrosto.
